There are different aspects to Reigning in Life and you will find the content of this Page to be quite different to what you have read or heard before – that makes for balance. I trust that you are inspired today…..
What does it mean to be “Reigning in life through Christ Jesus?” Here, we shall consider some practical ways we can do this.
Choosing how we Live Today
This means taking the Initiative to decide what goes into each day rather than coasting along putting up with everything that comes your way. Some people put more into a day than others, by choice….you can choose what goes into a day that makes for more quality in a day and how you live it. If practiced every day, this will make for a better quality of life for you and your love ones too because they will benefit as well.
Some people put more effort into life than others and this often determines our out-come in life…..a week or a year. Those with certain personality types or upbringing have more motivation and choices can come more natural to them…. the rest of us need to reach a place of awareness and put a considerable amount of effort into it. Mind-sets need to be renewed and habits need to change in order for us to live a better quality life too. We can achieve this because we have “Christ in us the Hope of Glory” and “We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us”__ He can impart strength for this task in such a way that turns out for His Glory because “God Moves in our moving” better than when we are stationary. Even the phrase “we are His workmanship” can prove more true – effectively speaking – because we are more engaged and pliable in His hands; we are expecting and embracing Change. There are times to “be still” in God like when we hear His Voice in prayer ……or……when we “stand still (in a situation) and see the Salvation of God”…….but so many of us lack initiative to seek after Him; go for the best in life and those we love. There is a complacency or a weakness of spirit most times. So often we lack a sense of purpose and disciplines that are necessary to result in the Best life and in God.
Keeping a Sweet Spirit
Part of Reigning in Life is keeping a Sweet Spirit throughout the day – from day to day – so nothing gets on top of us and our spirit is strong. This is part of monitoring what goes into a day so our hearts can be happy and light and bright. Not carrying yesterday’s load_ the things that upset you; the things that did not work out and negative experiences. This sets us Above temporal circumstances “Forgetting the things that are behind us and pressing forward to the Good things ahead” – even in that day.
When living in a two story townhouse in the 90’s_ each night when I went towards the stair-case to go to bed, I used to dismiss the things of the day: work, concerns etc and enjoy listening to some nice quiet praise and worship songs and music and prayerfully meditate on pleasant things and share my thoughts with The Lord. This kept my spirit strong even at a time when I did not enjoy the best of health…. others were not aware unless I mentioned…close neighbors would hear me singing and rejoicing with Jesus. Yet in the natural, I had little reason to rejoice. This keeps you clothed in Love (spiritually) so you Reign from Above (seeing things from His perspective) counting the stars instead of things that are hard.
Be careful what you carry to the next day_ reserve the “role-over” effect for Good things rather than those things that would deficit the good things in the following day. Each day has the potential for good and “not so good” and we can reserve the right to monitor what attitudes and feelings we give way to and allow to influence our day. If practiced every day, you can have a good life and a certain sense of Freedom just by adopting this principle alone. I’ve proven it.
IT IS HIS EXPRESSED PERFECT WILL FOR YOU TO REIGN IN LIFE AND TO LIVE IN KINGDOM BLESSINGS OF PEACE AND JOY AND THE GOODNESS OF GOD. NOW JESUS SAID DON’T LOOK OUT THERE FOR IT BECAUSE IT’S CLOSE AT HAND (in your grasp). AND IT STARTS WITH YOUR WELL-SPRING OF LIFE!

MY READERS:
Thank you for coming often to my other website, reading my pages and posts there. A change in my Webhost’s choice of Site Builders has made it necessary for me to make this change. It will be nice to have some of that content newly formatted along with some fresh new content. Lots of work to do but the outcome will be nice. God Bless!
