We kind of say to ourselves “now let me see, what time do I have to spare?” and make half an effort – to spare, and we want from Him answered prayer? without spending adequate time in His Presence like we do with a loved one.
We all get them – What shall we do? No-one likes offenses. So True! Times are stressful_ not everyone thinks before they speak or act. And sometimes inappropriate behavior from a Christian/Christians can really be upsetting. Let’s look at a few encouragements.
Confidence is about a person, it’s always about a person – not a theory or a technique. So build your confidence around the Person of God. Spend time in His Presence. This is the way we come to know Him. Acquaint yourself with Scriptures that speak of His Goodness, His Grace and Kindness.
In this stressful age we are living in, so many of us worry and become anxious about things – big and small. Many experience depression from too much of that. Some of us are addicted to worry, so to speak, as if we would feel lost for something to do if we did not have our worry-time each day. But scripture has a few things to say about this.
It has now been discovered that the way we think and feel much of the time, can and does impact our health for good and not so good. So in the interest of better health and happy dispositions, I am writing these things, so you can be aware of them.
A Closer Walk With Jesus
At this time, The Lord is calling many of us to walk closer to Him. To come closer – like we were when we first loved Him – and stay in that place of fellowship with Him.
Some of us are a little faint hearted when we see how we fall short of His Glory because He is a Holy God. Also the stresses and afflictions of this present age can weigh us down too. I have placed together several scriptures from different translations to encourage you!
Winning In Life’s Situations
We need to develop our own testimony of this. One we can draw on in life’s situations – for ourselves and others instead of resignation. Includes a Victory Poem!
