GOOD NEWS!<\/strong> YOU CAN GIVE FREELY FROM YOUR HEARTS<\/strong>. THREE TIMES THE HOLY SPIRIT SHOWED ME THIS AND I DO NOT GO BACK NOW TO THE LEGALISTIC WAY. IF PREACHERS SAY YOU HAVE TO<\/strong> TITHE, THEN\u00a0IT IS<\/strong> LEGALISTIC. THEY ARE EITHER PLAYING ON YOUR IGNORANCE OR THEY ARE ACTUALLY IGNORANT. SOME PREACHERS ARE WAKING UP<\/strong> IN THIS AREA.<\/p>\n

IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN, YOU SHOULD READ MY PAGE TRUTH ABOUT TITHES<\/a>.<\/strong> THAT WILL SETTLE\u00a0YOUR MIND ON GIVING \u2013 WHAT IS TRULY NEW TESTAMENT<\/strong> AND WHAT IS NOT. YOU WILL BE RELEASED INTO GIVING WITH PEACE AND JOY INSTEAD OF PRESSURED INTO TITHES AND OFFERINGS THAT WERE ORDAINED FOR ISRAEL, NOT BELIEVERS.<\/p>\n

\u201dWould it make me stingy if I did\u2019nt tithe?\u201d No, it should\u2019nt. If it does, I think we may have to look at the reason why we were tithing. For me, I rejoiced that I can give more than I could previously \u2013 I enjoyed the exercise and scripture does encourage Cheerful Giving. I saw it as a privilege and looked for ways to give\u00a0because I felt free.<\/p>\n

There is also this__ if you are used some way by The Lord, it frees your finances in that area, like myself with several websites to run.<\/p>\n

You can do these things more comfortably \u2013 instead of cramped maybe \u2013 not forgetting to Give to the Poor in some way\u00a0because that is the emphasis on New Testament Giving.\u00a0No, it should not make you thrifty. If it does, there\u2019s something wrong.<\/p>\n

There is nothing righteous about tithes that justifies you or me \u00a0\u2013 that is Jewish Law given to Israel \u2013 and being free from it should not\u00a0make you lazy. It should free your heart more. Let\u2019s Rejoice!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scriptures say what you give should not cause<\/strong> you sorrow, discomfort or hardship. So that makes the preacher out of line when he\/she says to \u201cgive till it hurts\u201d. Yes, it does hurt people financially or spiritually \u2013 so that is definitely not God\u2019s Order. So often, it is evil and covetous! Be Careful<\/strong>. They should not take God\u2019s Name in vain \u2013 they do so every time they misquote scriptures!<\/p>\n

New Testament<\/strong> scriptures state that we should not give reluctantly (with regret) or compulsion (shopping lists with God, that\u2019s coveting). One version says \u201cnot grudgingly\u201d, unyet many preachers do make such impositions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We should not be pressured in any way<\/strong>. The apostles did not do that. We can only Give Joyfully when we give with our hearts (what we decide)\u00a0not painfully, that is actually an unscriptural practice<\/strong>. ANY preacher who does that is actually out of line \u2013 they are covetous or ignorant.<\/p>\n

And they are quenching<\/strong> your Desire to Give. That is wrong, it really is.<\/p>\n

Scripture is very clear about this, Peter said \u201cwatching over them \u2013 not because you must, but because you are willing<\/strong>, as God desires you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve\u201d. ESV says \u201cnot for shameful gain\u201d unyet most Televangelists know no shame \u2013 their riches perish with them, and they will<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Peter goes on to say, \u201cneither Lording it over them (us) but being examples<\/strong>\u201d (with Christlike nature).<\/p>\n

He took his counsel directly from Jesus<\/strong>, that\u2019s what The Lord said.<\/p>\n
